York City native Derek McKeith seems as though he was born to
perform. With a music agent as a father and an actress as a mother
he found himself surrounded by entertainment throughout his childhood.
Inspired by a myriad of present-day street performers and the
psychedelic sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Southern University's McKeith
