Keep in mind that I'm still having a great time at my day job at DreamWorks Interactive. I remember the first time I met Steven Spielberg. It was the day after Thanksgiving. My boss asked me to show him the progress on The Lost World Sony Playstation title I was working on. As an assistant producer this was a big deal because I was clearly only a small step beyond being a P.A. I waited outside for him to arrive and my palms were sweaty. After a short while he pulled up in his truck, got out and introduced he and his son. I started the tour with the animators on my team showing them the Velociraptor that players would be able to control. Soon my heart stopped racing because for one - I knew I wasn't going to screw up and say something stupid and two - he turned out to be a down to earth guy with a huge imagination. After this experience it all started coming to me…why he is the phenomenon that he is. He's got a gift for understanding things that touch our hearts.
